Vibe: Boutique shopping, interior design stores, elevated dining, and that specific kind of confidence that only shows up when you’ve had a really good latte and tried on something silk.
Perfect for: Women in the Midlands & Upstate South Carolina who love luxury experiences, beautiful spaces, and romanticizing their own lives (as they should).
One of my favorite things about living in Newberry is that within two hours, I can be in some of the most stylish, polished, quietly luxurious towns in the South. And Greenville? Greenville is the crown jewel.
It’s walkable, it’s beautiful, it’s full of boutiques and home stores that make you want to redecorate your entire life — not just your living room — and it has major “main character energy” in the best way.
This is a two-day weekend escape designed for women who want to shop, eat well, stay somewhere gorgeous, and feel a little more like themselves by Sunday.

Day 1: Downtown Greenville — Boutiques & Beautiful Things
Start your day downtown, preferably with coffee in hand and no real agenda except enjoying yourself.
Where to Shop (Fashion & Lifestyle)
M. Judson Booksellers
Yes, it’s a bookstore — but it’s also a beautifully curated lifestyle shop with gifts, journals, accessories, and the kind of things you buy for your best friend and end up keeping.
Copper Penny Boutique
Effortlessly chic, feminine pieces that feel very “I summer in Europe” even if you actually summer at Target.
Monkee’s of the West End
Classic Southern boutique energy: dresses, accessories, and things you can actually wear to brunch, date night, or your own boudoir reveal party.
Anthropologie (Downtown Greenville)
Because obviously. The candles alone are a personality trait.

Home & Interior Stops (My Personal Weakness)
The Cook’s Station
High-end kitchenware that makes you believe you’re about to become the kind of woman who hosts dinner parties.
WestSide Market
A mix of antique-style decor, gifts, and Southern home pieces. Perfect for finding mirrors, art, and things that feel heirloom-y.
The Nested Fig
Fashion + lifestyle with major “polished Southern woman” energy.
This is usually the point in the day where I catch my reflection in a mirror, holding a silk blouse I absolutely don’t need, and think: Why are we so much kinder to ourselves in boutique lighting than we are in our own bathrooms?
And that’s… kind of the whole Bare Elegance philosophy in a sentence.

Lunch: Elevated, But Not Trying Too Hard
Jianna
Italian, stunning atmosphere, and the kind of place that makes you sit up straighter and order a glass of wine “just because.”
Camp Modern American Eatery
If you want something stylish but relaxed.
Passerelle Bistro
French-inspired, beautiful views, very “I deserve nice things” coded.
Where to Stay (Saturday Night)
Luxury:
Hotel Hartness
European estate energy, spa, stunning rooms, full luxury immersion.
Boutique:
Aloft Greenville Downtown
Modern, chic, walkable.
Accessible But Beautiful:
AC Hotel by Marriott Downtown
Clean lines, great location, very “Pinterest hotel.”
This is your night to:
take a long shower
wear the robe
order dessert
and remember you are not required to be productive on weekends

Dinner: Greenville’s Best Energy
Soby’s
Southern upscale classic.
Indaco
Italian, romantic, perfect for a solo date or girls’ night.
UP on the Roof
Rooftop cocktails because obviously you need at least one photo with a skyline.

Day 2: Brunch, Antiques & A Soft Reset
Brunch
Southern Pressed Juicery & Coffee
Light, fresh, perfect if you’re still in “soft life” mode.
Biscuit Head
If you want full indulgence.
Antiquing & Slow Wandering
The Vintage Market of Greenville
Curated antiques, mirrors, art, furniture — this place is dangerous in the best way.
Artifacts Greenville
Estate pieces, old frames, lamps, and things that feel like they came from a Southern grandmother’s dream home.
Somewhere between antique mirrors and brunch, women start remembering who they were before they got so hard on themselves.
And honestly? That’s exactly the headspace I want every woman in before a Bare Elegance session.

The Bare Elegance Connection
Luxury weekends like this aren’t really about shopping.
They’re about:
letting yourself be seen
taking up space
choosing pleasure
and unlearning the idea that everything has to be earned through exhaustion
That’s the same energy I bring into every Bare Elegance Boudoir session.
Not “perform for the camera.”Not “fix yourself.”
But: You are already worthy of being photographed beautifully.
Serving women throughout the Midlands & Upstate South Carolina, Bare Elegance is for the woman who wants her photos to feel like this weekend felt: elevated, relaxed, confident, and very much her own.
If You’re Planning This Weekend…
Pack:
one outfit that makes you feel hot
one outfit that makes you feel comfortable
a silk scarf or oversized sunglasses
and the willingness to romanticize your own life just a little
Because confidence isn’t built in gyms or dressing rooms.
It’s built in moments like this — when you finally let yourself enjoy being the main character.
